After some time working alone a serious thought came to me: I am sick of being alone.
During my working hours, I was very busy making phone calls to clients, video calls with my co-workers, and answering emails. But, when I looked up into the room, it was just me and my computer.
Whenever I met someone and explained that I work from home, people always say me: “you are very lucky! Is there any opening position for me in your company? How did you get a job like that?” The truth is that there are many advantages of not going into the office. However, working from home is not a bed of roses.
I was missing a lot of the coffee breaks with colleagues and the small talk at the office. Slowly, I was starting to think about the possibility of going back to work from an office again. At the same time, I was considering the idea of having a pet, but this was difficult since I was always traveling and changing apartments frequently.
By fate, my boyfriend had 2 cats, so I went to work from his apartment every day. The cats got use to me within time. Then, I understood that I finally had my little coworkers that I wanted.
What’s it like to work with cats

In this type of call it is possible that I stay for 1 hour chatting, then after a certain time the cat will try to participate in the call also in some way. I think it’s very funny but all my coworkers were watching the cat’s tail go by for several moments or every part of his body passing through the screen.
Cats are little snot-nosed. It’s like when you work from the office your boss or friends at work will check to see what you are doing. Therefore, you can make your boss the cat, instead of your boss or co-workers inquiring about what you are doing. The cat will always stand by and watch what is going on the computer. Maybe this is the moment he’s looking for attention.
Notebook means bed or pillow
When cats are looking for food or simply want to sleep, they use some space of my computer to rest. While working, it is very likely that you will have to get used to a sleeping feline during the hours you most need to produce. The truth is, I’m a little jealous. Being in the company of a cat was one of the best working the best experiences I ever had.
